<p>Disclosed are an X-ray imaging apparatus capable of optimizing an imaging condition in an X-ray imaging process, and a control method thereof. An X-ray imaging apparatus according to an embodiment includes an input part which receives patient information; and a control part which sets a present imaging condition based on a prior imaging condition and a prior X-ray image when the prior imaging condition and the prior X-ray image related to the patient information exist.</p>
