A printing system including a printing apparatus and a sheet processing apparatus, comprising: a first user interface unit configured to be provided on the printing apparatus and configured to receive a request for (i) executing a first type of job for printing an image on a sheet by the printing apparatus, (ii) conveying the sheet to the sheet processing apparatus by a conveying unit, and (iii) controlling the sheet processing apparatus to execute a sheet process on the sheet by the sheet processing apparatus; and a second user interface unit configured to be provided on the sheet processing apparatus and configured to receive a request for executing a second type of job for executing a sheet process on a sheet by the sheet processing apparatus without printing an image on the sheet by the printing apparatus, wherein the second type of job can be executed according to the request received by the second user interface unit while the printing apparatus is in a sleep mode, and wherein a user operation via the first user interface unit is reflected on a touch panel display included in the first user interface unit, and a user operation via the second user interface unit, which is not provided with a touch panel display, is reflected on at least one of a plurality of indicators included in the second user interface unit.
