EXTRACTION METHOD FOR ASTAXANTHIN IN PORTUNUS TRITUBERCULATUS SHELL

The present invention provides a method for extracting astaxanthin from Portunus trituberculatus shells, wherein the method comprises the following steps: (Step 1) producing Portunus trituberculatus shell powder by pulverizing Portunus trituberculatus shells; and (Step 2) extracting a solution including astaxanthin by mixing the Portunus trituberculatus shell powder from Step 1 with an organic solvent at a mixing ratio of 1:20-35 (g for the Portunus trituberculatus shell powder and ml for the organic solvent). In the method for extracting astaxanthin from Portunus trituberculatus shells according to the present invention, a condition for extracting astaxanthin from Portunus trituberculatus shells can be optimized, and a large quantity of astaxanthin can be rapidly extracted through an astaxanthin extracting process. Moreover, an ionic liquid is further added, so that a condition for extracting astaxanthin from Portunus trituberculatus shells can be more optimized.
