PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print an image with a characteristic difference in a head being suppressed.SOLUTION: In a droplet discharge method, droplet discharge operation for discharging droplets to a medium by using a first head and a second head which move in a main scanning direction, and medium movement operation for moving in a vertical scanning direction are repeated in turn. A plurality of dots are formed against a first region of the medium, a second region positioned in the -Y direction of the first region and continuing the first region, and a third region positioned in the -Y direction of the second region and continuing the second region. In the first region, dots are formed by using the first head and the second head, and with regard to a dot line along the X direction, the usage rate of the second head is kept constant. In the second region, dots are formed by using the first head and the second head, and with regard to a plurality of dot lines along the X direction, the usage rate of the second head is increased, in the -Y direction, from a value smaller than a first set value to a value larger than a second set value that is larger than the first set value. With regard to the third region, dots are formed by using the second head. |
