<p>The objective is to integrate remote controllers that perform a number of indoor operations into one device, and thus to eliminate complexity in terms of management and operation, improve usability, and increase comfort in terms of enabling rapid operation of devices, thus improving usability. In the present invention, as a method for integrating remote controllers into one device, a transmission/reception circuit, a control circuit, a storage circuit, a display unit, and a speech recognition circuit are incorporated in a remote controller, enabling a setting software to be started by voice, enabling an operations screen for the operated devices to be called and displayed by voice recognition, and enabling the operation of specific items. Therefore, even if the devices on which the indoor remote operations are performed are manufactured by different manufacturers, the remote operations can be performed when necessary by installing in an application software various infrared data formats, and by setting the same data format as the operated device when the initial settings are made.</p> |
