PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in calibration executed in an image processing apparatus, failure in a colorimetry device may reduce the accuracy of the correction by the calibration even after the execution of the calibration.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus of the present invention includes: image forming means for forming a first patch image that is an image formed on the basis of color values of lattice points obtained by equally dividing a color space and is formed on the basis of the color value of a first lattice point of the lattice points, and a second patch image that is formed on the basis of the color value of a second lattice point adjacent to the first lattice point; color measuring means for measuring the color of the first patch image included in a chart image formed by the image forming means with a first sensor of a plurality of sensors installed on a paper conveyance path, and measuring the color of the second patch image with a second sensor; and a correction means for correcting the reproducibility of an image formed by the image forming means by using a result of the measurement of the patch images by the color measuring means. |
