<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a damaged vehicle by using photographic images of vehicles.SOLUTION: A vehicle specification system includes: a number information DB in which number information of many vehicles obtained from images obtained by a vehicle recognition device is stored; a vehicle feature quantity DB in which feature quantities indicative of features in a plurality of portions of each of many vehicles, which are obtained from the images obtained by the vehicle recognition device, are stored in association with number information; and a server. The server includes: first determination means which searches the number information DB to determine whether there are vehicles of the same number information or not; second determination means which, if the first determination means determines that there are vehicles of the same number information, searches the vehicle feature quantity DB to determine whether there are vehicles which are of the same number information and are different in feature quantities or not; and means which, if the second determination means determines that there are vehicles which are of the same number information and are different in feature quantities, outputs a plurality of images indicative of different feature portions of the vehicles of the same number information, to a terminal device.</p> |
