PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic compound that emits blue light with high color purity and has a long lifetime.SOLUTION: A fluorescent organic compound is represented by General Formula G1 having a structure in which benzonaphthofuranylamine is bonded to the 1-position and the 6-position of a pyrene skeleton. (Arand Arseparately represent a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 13 carbon atoms; and Xand Xseparately represent a substituted or unsubstituted benzo[b]naphtho[1,2-d]furanyl group.
