<p>PURPOSE: A tool holder of a machine tool is provided to prevent the inflow of foreign materials by closing the top thereof with a cover and to ensure smooth mounting on a ram spindle because the cover is supported with a spring and pressed into the tool holder. CONSTITUTION: A tool holder of a machine tool comprises a body(100a), a spring(120), a cover(130), and a stopper screw(150). The body comprises a gripper groove(102), first and second stage receiving parts(104,106), female thread(110) which is formed on a side of the first-stage receiving part, and a vent hole(112) which is formed in the bottom of the first-stage receiving part. The spring is arranged in the first-stage receiving part and provides a returning force in an extension direction. The cover comprises a disc which is placed in the second-stage receiving part, a pipe, and a keyway which is formed on the exterior of the pipe. One end of the stopper screw is inserted in the keyway so as to prevent the separation of the cover.</p> |
