A pocket hand tool comprising an elongate handle portion 1 having a tool carrier plate 2 rotatably mounted on the elongate handle portion, the tool carrier plate having a peripheral array of tool heads (13A-13C, 14), the tool carrier plate having a first rotary position in which the tool heads are in a stowed configuration (figure 3) and having further rotary positions (figures 4-6) in which the tool heads are deployed. The tool carrier plate has an exposed major surface portion which can be manipulated by the users thumb, so that the pocket hand tool may be used one handed.The tool carrier plate and handle may be overlying paralle plates which pivot around a snap-fit bushing 3, 4. A second embodiment details a pocket hand tool with a tool carrier with tool heads which protrude beyond the sides of the handle the tool carrier is rotatably connected to. The utility tool handle portion may have a carabiner clip 5 and the multi-tool heads could be any suitable tool such as screwdrivers and wire strippers. |
