<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that is configured to prevent developer to be pumped up again and increase the amount of developer that can be accommodated in the developing device at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device of a supply recovery separation system includes a recovery screw 40 that is disposed to a recovery conveyance path 38 and provided with spiral screw blades around a rotation shaft thereof. The developing device is configured to have the larger differential area on the upstream side than that on the downstream side of the recovery conveyance path, the differential area being determined by subtracting a projection area, which is obtained by projecting the screw blades of the recovery screw in a developer conveyance direction in the recovery conveyance path, from a cross-section area of the recovery screw that is orthogonal to the developer conveyance direction in the recovery conveyance path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
