Antifungal composition, characterised in that it contains, as antifungally active substance, at least one substituted amidine of general formula: wherein R 1 and R 3 independently of each other represent an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or alkenyl radical, as unsubstituted or substituted cycloalkyl radical, an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic or araliphatic hydrocarbon radical; R 2 and R 4 independently of each other represent hydrogen, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or alkenyl radical, an unsubstituted or substituted cycloalkyl radical or an unsubstituted araliphatic hydrocarbon radical; and R 3 and R 4 together with the adjacent nitrogen atom also represent a 3 'to 7 membered heterocyclic radical which in addition to the nitrogen atom, can also contain further hetero atoms as ring members, or a salt thereof with organic or inorganic acids in admixture with a dispersing agent and carriers and/or distributing agents suitable for plant protection and a surface active ingredient, e.g. non-ionic, anionically active substance, and in addition may contain insecticides, other fungicides, batericides, fungistatics, bateriostatics or nematocides.
