PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which variation in the temperature distribution of a hydrodesulfurization agent and variation in gas flow inside the hydrodesulfurization agent, in a hydro-desulfurizer.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is composed of: a hydro-desulfurizer 1 for removing a sulfur compound in a raw material; and a fuel cell for generating power using air and the raw material. The hydro-desulfurizer includes: a cylindrical inner vessel 4; a raw material introduction part 6 for introducing the raw material into the inside of the inner vessel 4; a raw material discharge part 8 for discharging the raw material from the inside of the inner vessel 4; a protrusion 10 protruded from the inside face of the inner vessel 4 and provided so as to have a surface crossing the main axis of the inner vessel; the hydrodesulfurization agent, the hydrodesulfurization agent being filled into a portion upstream from and a portion downstream from the protrusion 10 inside the inner vessel 4; a desulfurization part 12 for adding hydrogen to the sulfur compound in the raw material to remove the sulfur compound; and an outer vessel 14 inside which the desulfurization part 12 and the inner vessel 4 are provided and which causes discharged gas discharged from the fuel cell to pass through the inside of the outer vessel 14 to heat the desulfurization part 12. |
