<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pick-up apparatus that makes possible automatic adjustment of the parameters of each of a plurality of lenses by automatically detecting whether or not more than one lens apparatus is being operated and, if operation of more than one is detected, matches the performance features of the multiple lens apparatuses.SOLUTION: The configuration of lens apparatuses each having drive parameter information for determining the drive performance features of a drive mechanism regarding photographic operation and driving the drive mechanism on the basis of the drive parameter information includes operating state distinguishing means that distinguishes a first operating state in which one of the lens apparatuses is operated by itself from a second operating state in which the lens apparatuses are operating in a plurality. When the operating state distinguishing means has identified the first operating state, the drive mechanism is driven in accordance with first drive parameter information or, when the second operating state has been identified, the drive mechanism is driven in accordance with second drive parameter information different from the first drive parameter information.</p> |
