<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in use and make paper feeding performance adequate by configuring so that paper feeding pressure returns a small paper feeding pressure for thin paper of a high use frequency in a case that paper feeding is completed under setting of a large paper feeding pressure for thick paper in a paper feeder in which the paper feeding pressure can be varied.SOLUTION: A paper feeder can switch over a paper feeding roller 6 which contacts to paper on a paper feeding stage 3 that can go up and down and rotates between a first position of a small paper feeding pressure and a second position of a large paper feeding pressure arbitrarily by a paper feeding pressure variable mechanism 11, 20. When the paper feeding stage goes downward under a condition that the paper feeding roller is at the second position of the large paper feeding pressure, downward movement of the paper feeding roller is transmitted to the paper feeding pressure variable mechanism and the paper feeding roller is switched over to the first position, to change the paper feeding pressure to the small value for thin paper.</p> |
