PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a dielectric, whose dielectric constant and dielectric loss are sufficiently low in a high-frequency region.SOLUTION: The resin composition for a dielectric contains an inorganic substance dispersed in a thermoplastic resin and/or a thermosetting resin. The inorganic substance contains plate-like inorganic particles. The inorganic particles have a material selected from the group consisting of hexagonal boron nitride, aluminum oxide, talc, and mica. The resin composition for a dielectric has a dielectric constantεof 5 or less and a dielectric loss tangent tanδof 5×10or less at a frequency of 1 GHz or higher and a temperature of 25°C.
