PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both ADB control and AFS control at low cost, and to enhance reliability.SOLUTION: A lighting control device for a vehicular headlamp includes: a vehicle detection unit for detecting a front vehicle based on an image taken by a camera; an object region setting unit for detecting a turning direction of an own vehicle based on a steering angle of the own vehicle, and setting an object region in which a light amount of irradiation light by the vehicular headlamp should be increased corresponding to the turning direction; a light irradiation range setting unit for setting a light irradiation range corresponding to the position of the front vehicle and when the front vehicle does not exist in the turning direction of the own vehicle, performing light amount setting in such a manner that the light amount of a part of the range, which is a part of the range of the light irradiation range and which corresponds to the object region, becomes relatively larger than the light amount of the light irradiation region other than that; and a light distribution control unit for generating a control signal corresponding to the light irradiation range and the light amount set by the light irradiation range setting part and outputting it to the vehicular headlamp. |
