A device is provided at the location for generating the oxygen consumed in the power station. A device is arranged at the location for generating ozone from the oxygen produced in the device for oxygen-producing. The feeding device is useful for supplying a portion of oxygen produced in the device and/or ozone to oxygen-consuming sub-processes in the paper mill. A device for air decomposition, preferably a vacuum pressure swing adsorption system or a cryogenic air-separation unit is provided as a device for producing oxygen, where in the device in addition to oxygen at least nitrogen is produced. The feeding device is used for supplying the oxygen produced in the device for air decomposition to nitrogen-consuming sub-processes in the paper mill. The nitrogen produced in the device for air decomposition is fed into a grinding device (3) associated with the arrangement for the raw material pre-treatment. A wastewater treatment plant for cleaning the waste water found in the raw material pretreatment and in the paper production in the paper machine and a feeding device is provided for supplying oxygen produced in the device and/or ozone to the biological waste water treatment. A gas/steam turbine power plant is used as a power station. Preferred Process: The carbon dioxide consuming sub-processes are pH regulation, drainage acceleration of a fiber suspension, sticky reduction, hardness stabilization of the used water and/or the cleaning of bands, preferably in the area of drying zone, of the sticky adhesion by irradiation with dry ice particle, the production of calcium carbonate and/or the loading of fibers of the fiber suspension with calcium carbonate. The oxygen required for the combustion of the fuel is obtained in the device for air decomposition. A portion of oxygen produced in the device for air decomposition is used as rejuvenating agent for a biological purification stage of the waste water in the paper mill associated with sewage treatment plant, for production of ozone for the waste-bleaching, for biocidal ozone treatment of wastewater and/or for immediate use of oxygen as a bleaching agent. The nitrogen produced in the device for air decomposition is used for inerting and/or for treating fiber suspension, before grinding. Biogases are produced in a sewage treatment plant for cleaning of waste water, where the biogas is fed as fuel to the power station. Cryogenically generated air gases in the device for air decomposition are used as cooling media, preferably for cooling the purified wastewater prior its injection into the paper mill. The waste occurred in the paper production and/or the waste water for the control of microbiological activity is treated alternatively with carbon dioxide, nitrogen, oxygen and/or ozone.</p>
