1. A positive allosteric modulator of AMPA receptors (AMPAR) having a general formula of Formula I: where R1 and R2 are independently hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or C1-C6 heteroalkyl; and R3 is hydrogen, nitro, amine, cyano, substituted or unsubstituted sulfonyl, substituted or unsubstituted acyl, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl; and X is (i) a polycyclic heteroaryl when n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, and L is a direct bond, —NH—, —C(O)—, or —C(O)NH—; or (ii) a monocyclic heteroaryl when n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, and L is a —NH—, —C(O)—, or —C(O)NH—; or (iii) an aryl when n is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, and L is a direct bond, —NH—, —C(O)—, or —C(O)NH—. |
