<p>Apparatus for regulating high power voltage supplies, comprising a voltage input, voltage regulating means arranged to receive the AC input voltage and output a regulated output voltage under control of a control means connected to the voltage regulating means, wherein the apparatus is provided with pulse width modulation means and temperature sensing means in communication with the control means and the voltage regulation means, and wherein control means is adapted to control the regulated output voltage by altering the pulse width modulation in dependence on the sensed temperature.</p> |
