<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for updating image data of a virtual machine when updating an operating system and/or application program in the virtual machine.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a computer where a plurality of virtual machines operate includes restriction means. When a first virtual machine out of the plurality of virtual machines is in an update mode in which an operating system and/or application program is updated, the restriction means restricts an I/O device, which can be recognized from the first virtual machine when starting the virtual machine, to a first I/O device which is necessary for the operating system and/or application program.</p> |
