<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation ditch in which the load of a bearing holding a circulation water flow generation means is reduced and which allows an increase in the apparatus cost to be suppressed as a result. <P>SOLUTION: In the oxidation ditch including the circulation water flow generation means and an oxygen supply means in an endless circulation water channel, the circulation water flow generation means 16 includes a cylindrical body 18 with an axis directed toward the vertical direction, a plurality of agitation blades 19 provide on and protruded from the outer periphery of the cylindrical body, a bearing 21 rotatably holding a rotary shaft 20 provided so as to protrude from the cylindrical body upward, and a drive means 22 rotationally driving the rotary shaft.
