<p>Polymer mixt. comprising (a) a linear polyacrylene polyether thermoplast -(O-E-O-E)- where E is diphenyl residu and E' is residue of a benzenoid compd. contg. an inert grp. which increases electron density on ortho- and para- posns. and (b) 0.1 to 99.9% wt. of a siloxane/polyarylene-polyether comprising (1) a siloxane chain having 2 units RbSi RbSiO (4-b)/2 where R is monovalent hydrocarbon, -O- etc. and b is 1 to 3; R can also be org. divalent hydrocarbon or ehter oxygen linking siloxane to polyarylene- polyether and (ii) a linear polyarylene-polyether as defined for (a). These polymer mixts. gave materials with better shock resistance and increased resistance to cracking in pres. of certain fluids.</p> |
