<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification installation that can stably be operated, even when a combustible gas is used as a gas for carrying a powder fuel, and to provide a combined coal gasification power generation installation. <P>SOLUTION: The gasification installation 11 uses a combustible gas 28 containing a combustible component as a carrying gas for carrying fine coal from a fine coal supply hopper 24 to a coal gasification furnace 25, and includes a carrying gas supply pipe 61 for supplying an exhaust gas 28 containing the combustible component from the fine coal supply hopper 24 to an off-gas combustion furnace 16, and an inert gas supply portion 64 disposed on the carrying gas supply pipe 61 and used for supplying an inert gas 63 to the carrying gas supply pipe 61. The exhaust gas 28 exhausted from the fine coal supply hopper 24 is diluted with the inert gas 63 to lower the concentration of the combustible component contained in the exhaust gas 28 supplied to the off-gas combustion furnace 16.
