<p>PURPOSE: A portable terminal and alarm control method thereof are provided to enable a user to control an alarm system by establishing the alarm time of a terminal in the designated environment. CONSTITUTION: A user establishes the alarm time of a terminal(S310). A control unit acquires surrounding images through a camera unit at the established alarm time(S320). When the acquired surrounding images matches with the designated reference images based on an image comparison result of an image analysis unit, the control unit normally operates an alarm system(S330,S340). When the acquired surrounding images do not match with the reference images, the control unit does not operate the alarm system(S350).</p> |
