<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter preventing oil from an oil discharge part from flowing upward from a lower part. <P>SOLUTION: The air filter includes: a filter case 10 having an element arranging space S inside and formed with an inflow hole 2 and an outflow hole 3, which bring the element arranging space S into communication with the outside; a filter element 50 mounted in the element arranging space S while dividing the element arranging space S into two of an inflow space Sa communicating with the inflow hole 2 and an outflow space Sb communicating with the outflow hole 3, and flocculating oil mist from gas flowed in through the inflow hole 2; and a drain part 60 provided vertically through a lower part of the filter case 10 and letting the oil flow thereinto, which is flocculated by the filter element 50 and flows down into the lower part of the filter case 10.
