PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing patient image information, a system, and a computer readable medium including an instruction.SOLUTION: One method includes a step for displaying a list of dental patients inside a graphical user interface on a portable computing device. The method includes the steps for receiving a selected person of a patient from the list according to a user input, and acquiring at least one optical picture of an outside oral cavity of the selected patient. Further, the method includes the steps for associating the at least one optical picture of the outside oral cavity with additional information including information for identifying the selected patient on the portable computing device, and transmitting the at least one optical picture of the outside oral cavity and the additional information to a computer physically separated from the portable computing device so as to be stored in an electronic record associated with the selected patient. |
