PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a fabric surface capable of suppressing that one surface is modified when the other surface is irradiated with plasma for modification by using a spray type plasma processing apparatus.SOLUTION: The method for processing a fabric surface includes: disposing a fabric 10 outside of electrodes that generate plasma P; applying plasma P generated between the electrodes to the fabric 10 from the side of a first surface 11 while sucking the plasma P passing through a space in the fabric 10 from the side of a second surface 12 that is opposite from the first surface 11 of the fabric.
