PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to implement more flexible DRX.SOLUTION: There is provided a communication control device comprising: a selection unit for selecting a paging section from a plurality of paging sections repeatedly emerging in a period having a length of a first discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle for a terminal device; and a control unit for performing paging in the selected paging section, when performing the paging to the terminal device. The length of the first DRX cycle is indivisible by a length of each of the plurality of paging sections.
