PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and properly collate images.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 100 includes: a corresponding area determination part 7d which determines a corresponding area corresponding to a registered image in a pickup image based on pixel information on the registered image registered in an image registration part 6 and acquired pixel information on the pickup image; a collation object area setting part 7f which sets a collation object area in the determined corresponding area; and an image collation part 7g which performs collation based on the result of correspondence between feature information on the set collation object area and feature information on the area corresponding to the collation object area in a registered image.
