Disclosed are a touchscreen-based input method and device, which belong to the field of terminal devices. The touchscreen-based input method comprises: displaying a soft keyboard, the soft keyboard comprising a first number of elements; and when a first screen touch operation is detected, according to an instruction of the first screen touch operation, amplifying and displaying a second number of elements related to the operation instruction, the first screen touch operation being a screen touch operation performed on the soft keyboard, wherein the first number is greater than the second number. The touchscreen-based input apparatus comprises: a display control module and a detection control module. The rough operation range of the first screen touch operation is determined via the specific position of the first screen touch operation on a touchscreen, and only elements within this range are locally amplified and displayed, so that the selection and input of elements are realized, thereby improving the input accuracy. |
