PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which can miniaturize a core back and a coil end.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises: a stator core in which a plurality of slots are arranged in a circumferential direction; a stator having a stator coil with insulating coat, which is inserted into the slot of the stator core; and a rotor which is rotatably installed to the stator core via a prescribed gap. The stator coil includes: a main coil to which a plurality of segment coils 28 where conductors in rectangular sections are previously formed in almost U shapes are connected; an auxiliary coil 701U1 which includes a lead-out line 500U1 which is led out from the slot and to which an AC terminal is attached and which is connected to one end of the main coil; and an auxiliary coil which includes a neutral line led out from the slot and is connected to the other end of the main coil. The lead-out line 500U1 and the neutral line are constituted of a conductor of a bent structure, which is formed of a plurality of straight lines S and bent sections B.
