<p>Levelling streakiness in organic solvent dyeing of polyamide fibres and products, due to nature of material comprises pre-treating or adding to dyebath an ester of an unsatd. carboxylic acid and/or a deriv. of an aromatic ketone. Ester is pref. a beta-cyano-beta-phenyl-acrylic acid alkyl ester in which alkyl contains up to 6C atoms ketone is pref. a 2-hydroxy-4-alkoxy- benzophenone, in which alkyl gp. contains 5-18C. Organic solvent is pref. a chlorinated hydrocarbon.</p> |
