PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a slurry composition by which a slurry composition keeping high dispersibility over a long period of time can be produced in a simple way, and to provide a slurry composition produced using the method for producing a slurry composition.SOLUTION: The method for producing a slurry composition containing an inorganic powder, polyvinyl acetal resins and organic solvents includes: a step of preparing an inorganic dispersion by adding and mixing the inorganic powder, a polyvinyl acetal resin (A) and an organic solvent for inorganic dispersion; a step of preparing a resin solution by adding and mixing a polyvinyl acetal resin (B) and an organic solvent for a resin solution; and a step of adding the resin solution to the inorganic dispersion; wherein the polyvinyl acetal resin (A) has a polymerization degree of 200-600, and a ratio between a moiety acetalized with acetaldehyde and a moiety acetalized with butylaldehyde is 30:70 to 95:5, the polyvinyl acetal resin (B) has a polymerization degree of 800-4,000, and in the step of preparing the inorganic dispersion liquid, the polyvinyl acetal resin (A) is added by an amount of 0.1-20 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the inorganic powder. |
