Disclosed are a payment information management server which can restrict payment of a customer according to credit information of the customer or transaction type and a method for managing payment information by using the same. The payment information management server comprises: a service information management unit which interlocks with a plurality of individual service management servers to collect service utilization information of each customer; an abnormal transaction determination unit which determines whether an abnormal transaction, in which purchase with respect to a specific service is integrally or repeatedly performed with a reference time by a specific customer, occurs; and an abnormal transaction occurrence informing unit which informs the abnormal transaction to a corresponding customer or a corresponding service business manager when it is determined that the abnormal transaction occurs from the abnormal transaction determination unit. Thus, problem of cost due to an outstanding balance can be prevented, and unfair charge to a favorable client can be prevented. |
