<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of restraining the flow of EGR gas from being hindered by adhesion of exhaust gas components.SOLUTION: A control device 1 of an internal combustion engine having an EGR control section 25 for controlling an EGR system 6 includes an idling state continuation determining section 23 for determining whether an idling state of the internal combustion engine is continued for the prescribed time or not, and a low exhaust temperature state continuation determining section 24 for determining whether a state in which a temperature of exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine is lower than a predetermined value is continued for the prescribed time or not, and the EGR control section 25 deactivates the EGR system 6 when the idling state is continued for the prescribed time or the low exhaust temperature state is continued for the prescribed time.</p> |
