<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breather structure of an internal combustion engine, which can reduce a cost and prevent enlargement of the whole internal combustion engine by using an insertion hole for insertion of a clutch release shaft as a breather passage.SOLUTION: In a breather structure of an internal combustion engine, a clutch release shaft (39) is inserted in an insertion hole (60b) which is perforated directed radially in a cover outer wall (7v) of a clutch cover (7) from a central part (P) to a peripheral part (Q). A breather introduction port (60a) is formed near the central part (P) of the insertion hole (60b) to open to a transmission chamber (2M) side, and a breather passage (60c, 60d) communicating with a breather chamber (61) formed in an upper rear space in a crankcase (2), is formed by perforating a cover outer peripheral wall (7s) and the crankcase (2) from the peripheral part (Q) of the insertion hole (60b).</p> |
