<p>The present invention provides a method for repairing the shoe block of a scarfing apparatus. The method comprises: a first step of removing foreign substances from the surface of the shoe block; a second step of removing a skid from the shoe block; a third step of mapping the surface of the shoe block; a fourth step of treating the surface of the shoe block by heat; a fifth step of welding and fostering the surface of the shoe block; a sixth step of uniformly machining the fostered surface of the shoe block and forming a skid insertion groove; a seventh step of treating the shoe block by chemicals; an eighth step of mounting a new skid onto the skid insertion groove of the shoe block; a ninth step of supplying liquid or gas to the inside of the shoe block to inspect an airtight state; and a tenth step of grinding the surface of the shoe block. Therefore, the shoe block may be maintained and repaired through a series of stages, thereby improving the life thereof and reducing economic costs. In addition, scarfing of slabs may be maximized by exchanging a damaged or deformed skid.</p> |
