PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent conveyance roller capable of reducing cost and weight and preventing conveyance non-uniformity, a conveyance unit using the conveyance roller, and a printer.SOLUTION: A conveyance roller comprises: a roller body 16 formed in a cylindrical shape facing a pair of end surfaces by press processing; and a high friction layer 50 arranged on a surface of the roller body 16 and including an inorganic particle 95. The roller body 16 is formed with a joint 80 for separating the pair of the end surfaces, and average particle size of the inorganic particle 95 is not more than a distance d1 between the pair of the end surfaces on the outer peripheral surface side of the roller body 16. |
