<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone composition giving its cured product with good transparency, high light resistance, high heat discoloration resistance and high adhesivity, and excellent in storage stability at high temperatures when undergoing e.g. transportation and storage. <P>SOLUTION: The silicone composition comprises: an epoxy-modified silicone represented by average compositional formula (1); and a nitrile compound; wherein the content of the nitrile compound is≥0.1 and≤50 mass ppm. In average compositional formula (1), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>groups are each independently (A) a monovalent aliphatic organic group, (B) a monovalent aromatic organic group or (C) a monovalent organic group; R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>groups are each independently an epoxy group-containing organic group; Y groups are each independently a bivalent organic group; Z is a bond to each of the Y groups; and (a) to n are the number of moles of the corresponding respective siloxy units present in 1 mol of the epoxy-modified silicone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
