LAWFUL INTERCEPTION SOLUTIONS FOR LOCAL OFFLOAD TRAFFIC, LOCAL CACHED TRAFFIC AND LOCAL IP ACCESS TRAFFIC

A lawful interception (Li) unit may establish a secure tunnel with an evolved home nodeB (H(e)NB). Over the secured tunnel, the LI unit may receive local offload data for a user. The local offload data for the user may be received over an LOoff interface. The LI unit may receive an LI configuration signal from an evolved packet core (EPC) unit. The LI configuration signal may indicate to the LI unit that the user is subject of lawful interception. The LI unit may copy the received local offload data for the user and may forward the copied offload data to a law enforcement agency (LEA).
