An electronic component mounting machine (16) mounts an electronic component (110) on a circuit board, said electronic component (110) having an electrode (112) to which a viscous fluid (114) is transferred. In the electronic component mounting machine (16), a height sensor (90) detects the height of the electrode (112) before the viscous fluid (114) is transferred (shown by a dotted line in Fig. 6) and the height of the electrode (112) after the viscous fluid (114) is transferred (shown by a solid line in Fig. 6). The transferring of the viscous fluid (114) to the electrode (112) is then confirmed by comparing the height of the electrode (112) before the viscous fluid (114) is transferred with the height of the electrode (112) after the viscous fluid (114) is transferred. That is, if the difference between the height of the electrode (112) before the viscous fluid (114) is transferred and the height of the electrode (112) after the viscous fluid (114) is transferred exceeds a predetermined value, it is determined that the viscous fluid (114) is appropriately transferred to the electrode (112). This makes it possible to appropriately confirm the transferring of the viscous fluid (114) to the electrode (112). |
