<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flat cable that is capable of significantly moderating the limitations on the method of welding a terminal of a connector for a flat cable and a conductor of a flat cable, and that is capable of readily and quickly connecting a connector for a flat cable to a flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: In a body housing 11 and a cover housing 12, an opening is formed, to extend along a connector width direction that is perpendicular with respect to a direction parallel to an extension direction of a plurality of conductors 103 that are held in a pressed state, and opening portions (26, 32) are provided, to make the plurality of conductors 103 and a plurality of terminals 13 expose to the outside at a conductor exposure portion 105 over the connector width direction. Welding is performed via the opening portions (26, 32) so as to weld the plurality of conductors 103 and the plurality of terminals 13 at the conductor exposure portion 105, together on a one-to-one basis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
