<p>A locking device for a tray in a car is provided to open the tray easily by allowing a rotation member to move a latch member when a user pushes a knob. A locking device for a tray in a car comprises an internal housing, an external housing, a mounting member(30), a knob(40), a rotation member(50), a first elastic member(60), a latch member(70), and a second elastic member(80). The internal housing includes a front panel with a hooking groove. The external housing has a space for the internal housing to slide therein. The mounting member includes a hole for communicating with the hooking groove, and a control hole at the front. The knob protrudes through the control hole of the mounting member and is pressed into the control hole by a user. The rotation member is hinged to the mounting member and rotated by the knob. The first elastic member is configured to one part of the mounting member to return the rotation member to the origin position. The latch member is released from the hooking groove when one end of the rotation member moves upwards. The second elastic member is installed between the latch member and the mounting member to return the latch member downwards through the hole.</p> |
