<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting wavelength spectrum for providing a compact and portable device using a PD whose installation site is unrestricted. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for detecting a waveform spectrumϕ(λ) of any light, a photodiode is configured to allow incidence of any light in a photoelectric conversion region thereof, to generate a photocurrent by applying an electric filed in the incident direction of the any light, detect a transient response I(t) of a photocurrent value which is an output after the incidence or cutoff of the any light, and calculate and determine the wavelength spectrumϕ(λ) of the any light based on the transient response I(t). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
