Method for operating a cell, the method comprising:
- operating the cell with a first cell ID serving at least one user equipment;
- emulating a further cell with a second cell ID on the cell;
- handing over the at least one user equipment from the first cell ID to the second cell ID;
- cease transmitting via the first cell ID.
