<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for determining a three-phase electric power supply, and more specifically, to an apparatus of determining a negative phase and an open phase of a three-phase electric power supply. The three-phase electric power supply determining apparatus of the present invention comprises: a first phase detection unit converting a periodic voltage waveform, which rises/descends at a zero-cross point of an R phase with respect to a T phase among the R phase, the T phase, and an S phase of the three-phase electric power supply, into a pulse wave; a second phase detection unit converting voltage waveform rising/descending at a zero-cross point of the S phase with respect to the T phase, into a pulse wave; a wave synthesizing unit outputting a qudrature pulse outputted from the first phase detection unit and the second phase detection unit; and a negative phase determination unit receiving the qudrature pulse outputted from the phase synthesizing unit and comparing the qudrature pulse to output a logic″0″when the qudrature pulse is a negative pulse, and to output a logic″1″when the qudrature pulse is an open phase. According to the present invention, since the three-phase electric power supply determining apparatus has a wide three phase alternating current range (120 to 500 V) that is able to be determined, the three-phase electric power supply determining apparatus can be applied to various systems.</p> |
