<p>The present invention relates to a drillship having a sliding type derrick. More specifically, the drillship having the sliding type derrick significantly cuts energy consumption by reducing power loss due to a movement of the drillship since the derrick is made to be transferred instead of the drillship. Moreover, the present invention can greatly shorten a work time due to the movement of the derrick when compared to when the drillship is transferred, increasing the utilization of space of a deck as the derrick is installed to be deviated from a central portion of the deck; thus operating easily other moving work or the like. According to the present invention, the drillship having the sliding type derrick comprises: a plurality of sliding rails installed to be horizontally extended outward from a hull, and securing a passage for a drilling operation by being separated from each other; a derrick installed in the sliding rails to be slid; and a derrick transporting unit transporting the derrick to a desired location along the sliding rails.</p> |
