<p>The device has carrier structure whose support axis is oriented transversely over roadway. Several transmitter elements downwardly emit a light measuring beam. Each light measuring beam is located in emission direction extending normal to support axis of carrier structure. A receiver element which is installed on carrier structure receives reflected light measuring beams. An evaluation unit is connected to transmitter and receiver for time of flight measurement. The emission directions of two transmitter elements are not parallel to each other.</p> |
