PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article exerting excellent front/back leak prevention effects by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: In both front/back sides of a pad type disposable diaper 200, parts traversing boundaries X between turned-back portions 24f and free portions 24b in the width direction are pulled towards a longitudinally central side induced by contraction of gather elastic members 24G. Thereby, first parts P1 adjacent to the longitudinally central side of the boundaries X are folded up to the front side and the longitudinally central side to form pockets 50. Second parts P2 located at longitudinally end sides with respect to the boundaries X are folded from the first parts P1 to the front side and the longitudinally end parts sides. |
